Brian Dougherty is Partner and CEO of Corcoran Property Advisors based out of the company's flagship office on Boston's Newbury Street. Responsible for more than $550 Million of sales, he has been profiled in Boston Magazine for the past 5 years as one of the top producing agents in the region and is often featured in the Wall Street Journal, the Boston Globe, Forbes and other distinguished publications. In 2018, 2021, 2022, and again in 2024, Brian represented some of the largest residential transactions in all of Massachusetts.
Prior to his affiliation with Corcoran, Brian was a Managing Director at Compass, where alongside his partner Nick, he led The Private Brokerage team to provide bespoke real estate services for accomplished individuals and families throughout Greater Boston. Brian was also a Managing Partner at Robert Paul Properties from 2014 until early 2019 when he sold his interest in the business.
He previously held a number of senior management and business development roles for various privately held and publicly traded companies. From 2005 to 2007, Brian was a real estate sales advisor with DPS Development Company, working on the marketing and sales of luxury real estate developments in the Turks Caicos and Jackson Hole, Wyoming.
Brian served for several years on the Advisory Board for the Top Agent Network (TAN) which is a private membership of the top 10% producing agents in the State. He also served as a member of the finance committee for Governor Charlie Baker. Brian and his husband Nick live in Cohasset with their son Henry after having lived in Boston’s Back Bay and South End neighborhoods for many years. Passionate about design and preservation, Brian and Nick have renovated and redeveloped several significant properties throughout the years including a boutique inn on Cape Cod.
